ST/OP is the Online Photography programme of the Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) ST/ART Project. This approach was originally developed in response to restrictions during the Covid Pandemic and that success led to this new longer term online model.

This third Online Gallery of photographs showcases some of the fantastic work the group has been creating over the last 6 months.

Meeting monthly on Zoom with Lead Artist and photographer David P Scott, participants with long term health conditions and their carers are continuing to explore digital photography. The continued support of the ST/ART Project has meant that the more relaxed pace of monthly meetings has given participants more time to experiment with ideas, equipment and apps. Each month they discuss their work, share their experiences, and are set new challenges.

As part of the programme the group also meet in person and in January 2023 booked the DCA boardroom to discuss various technical process with several members of the group presenting on techniques they had discovered and developed.

This Gallery of work by 12 participants, is grouped under the six thematic challenges the group responded to: You Decide, Winter Warmer, Something New, Hide & Seek, In A Word and Abstract Colour and Shape.

The programme will now continue through to March 2024 and possibly beyond, with fresh challenges, more field trips, exhibitions and further Gallery updates.
