ST/OP is the Online Photography programme of the Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) ST/ART Project. This fourth Online Gallery of photographs showcases some of the fantastic work the group has been creating over the last 6 months.

Meeting monthly on Zoom with Lead Artist and Photographer David P Scott, participants with long term health conditions and their carers have continued to explore digital photography, to experiment with ideas, equipment and apps alongside discussing their work, sharing their experiences and taking on new challenges.

As part of the programme the group is currently exhibiting at Ninewells Hospital in the Level 7 Gallery Space and contributed work to A Walk with Absent Friends, an installation at Dundee Univerity Botanic Gardens by THAT in partnership with Say Something Dundee for the 2023 To Absent Friends Festival.

This Gallery of work by 12 participants, is grouped under the six thematic challenges the group responded to: Windows, Over There, It’s Raining, After The Madison Dance (Bande à part), Triptychs, To Absent Friends and Shadows.

The programme will now continue through to March 2024 and possibly beyond, with fresh challenges, field trips, more exhibitions and further Gallery updates.
